Terms of Service
The rules for using Invoice Extractor. By creating an account or using the app, you're agreeing to these terms.
1Acceptance of these terms
By signing up for or using Invoice Extractor, you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that business to them.
2What the service does
Invoice Extractor lets you upload invoice and receipt files (PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP) and extracts structured data from them — vendor, date, amounts, and whichever other fields you've configured — using Anthropic's Claude API. Results can be reviewed, downloaded, and optionally saved to a spreadsheet or connected Google Drive folder.
3Accounts
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure — we don't hold or see your Google password. One account is for one person or business; don't share credentials to work around plan limits.
4Plans & billing
Free
10 receipts per calendar month, resets automatically. No payment required.
Go Plan
Paid monthly or annual subscription with a higher monthly receipt allowance, billed through Stripe.
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your account — your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then reverts to Free. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
5Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything illegal, or upload documents you don't have the right to process.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or paywalls (e.g. scripting requests, sharing accounts, or exploiting bugs to get unmetered access).
- Probe, scan, or attack the service's infrastructure, or interfere with other users' access to it.
- Use extracted output to misrepresent financial records — the service assists your bookkeeping, it doesn't certify it.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
6Your content
You own the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. You're granting us only the limited right to process that content in order to provide the service to you — nothing more. See the Privacy Policy for how it's handled and shared with our processors.
7Accuracy & no warranty
Extraction is performed by an AI model and, like any OCR or AI-based tool, can misread amounts, dates, or vendor names — especially on low-quality scans or unusual document layouts. Always review extracted fields against the original document before relying on them, particularly for tax filings or other records with legal consequences. The service is provided "as is," without warranty that extraction will be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.
8Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invoice Extractor and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including errors in extracted data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
9Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, your right to use the service ends, though the data-retention terms in our Privacy Policy still apply.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we'll update the effective date above and, where practical, let you know directly. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
