Privacy Policy

Invoice Extractor collects only what's needed to run the extraction service and your account:

• Account details — your name, email address, and profile photo, from Google Sign-In.
• Uploaded documents — the invoice and receipt files (PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP) you upload for extraction, plus the structured data extracted from them.
• Usage data — how many receipts you've processed this month, your subscription status, and basic activity needed to enforce plan limits.
• Billing data — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and plan, never your full card number.

If you choose to save results to Google Drive, Invoice Extractor requests the drive.file scope — a restricted Google permission that only lets the app see and manage files it creates or that you explicitly pick through its own file picker. It cannot browse, read, or modify the rest of your Drive.

• To run the extraction itself — your uploaded document is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to read and extract the fields you've configured.
• To manage your account — sign-in, your monthly free-tier quota, and subscription billing through Stripe.
• To save your results — to your chosen spreadsheet and, if connected, your Google Drive folder.
• To communicate service notices — billing receipts, and messages about changes that affect your account. No marketing email unless you ask for it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploaded documents to train our own models.

We use a small number of service providers to run Invoice Extractor:

We don't share your data with anyone else, and never for advertising purposes.

Uploaded documents are processed to extract their data and are not stored longer than needed to complete that extraction and let you review the result. The structured data extracted from them, and your account/usage records, are kept for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes this data, other than what Stripe or Google retain independently under their own policies.

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time — write to the email below. You can also revoke Invoice Extractor's Google Drive access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, and manage or cancel your subscription yourself from the billing portal in the app.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest through our providers' infrastructure. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate the service.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your settings between visits — no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Invoice Extractor is a bookkeeping tool intended for business use and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If this policy changes in a way that meaningfully affects how your data is handled, we'll update the effective date above and, where practical, let you know directly.
